Matt is from Sydney. In his final year of high school, Matt surrendered his life to Christ. He trained and worked with Qantas in Aircraft Engineering before doing a year of Bible College. He had a calling to mission aviation and was lead to MAF PNG program, starting in 2008.
Becky is from Oregon. She wanted to be a doctor since she was five years old and then as a teenage girl was called by God into full time ministry. After her training program, she had an opportunity to come to PNG in 2008 to work at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital.
Matt met Becky out at the hospital emergency room in 2010. After that they became good friends and later started courting. In 2011, they got engaged in July and in October were married in PNG.
After their marriage they serve the Lord together in PNG. They live at Kudjip, Becky working at the hospital and Matt continuing in the hangar in Mt Hagen. They look forward to continue serving as a couple with MAF.
